Since I have been taking macro photos for this project I have discovered many marvelous details about plants and flowers that previously went unnoticed. This bloom, which I assume is a variety of
zinnia, has a tiny ring of smaller blossoms in the center. Canon 40D, 1/500 sec @ f/5.6, ISO 400, 50mm macro lens.
