354 - Holiday Reflections

From 365 Project
Glass blown Christmas ornaments were invented in Germany in the mid-1800's. Today's mass produced versions still add sparkle and shine to the holiday celebration. Canon Rebel XTi, 1/25 sec @ f/3.5, ISO 800, 50mm macro.

Lovely shot. No matter how hard I try I just can't seem to get any decent pictures of the baubles on our tree.

Sharon, go wide open on the aperture, push the ISO high as you can without too much noise, at least 800-1600 and shoot a bunch of frames. Under expose by 1 stop maybe even as much as two. I'm looking forward to seeing some new photos from you on your blog. Merry Christmas!

This is really quite nice! I love the reflections and the way you kept the photo warm-toned. Happy Holidays!
