A Horse - Day 31 #CY365

Today's challenge was "A Horse". Not having ready access to a real horse I went to the next best thing - Gumby's best pal - Pokey. This is one still-frame picture but it takes 1,440 still frame pictures to make one minute of Gumby and Pokey animation. That's almost four years at the picture a day pace of the 365 project. Canon 7D, 1/500 sec @ f/5.6, ISO 1600.

1/4 Life Crisis

My trainer Daniel Vazquez,a.k.a Quez, celebrated his 25th birthday today. For a couple of weeks he has talked about getting old. So his mom surprised him by setting up Fitness Together Ghent with custom water bottles warning all of his clients of the impending crisis. She had healthy snacks for all of us at FT each with a customized "Quez Quip" about Daniel. All in all it was great fun. You should join the party at FT, get fit and meet some great people. Canon G15, 1/80 sec @ f/2.5, ISO 400 in macro mode.

Easter Fun

- My grandson Robert thoroughly enjoyed the Easter Basket we made for him. It was mostly cheap toys, the only candy was Pop Rocks - his first experience was priceless. But of course he enjoyed the fake paper grass from the basket the best. He was at "Grammy's house" and she let him spread it all over the house. Here is is throwing a bunch up in the air. I'm not sure who had the most fun - him, us or the cats. Canon 40D, 1/125 sec @ f/5.0, ISO 800, 50mm prime lens and Canon ETTL flash bounced from the ceiling.

Pool Ball

From 2010 Blog
This beach ball was pushed across the pool by the breeze. I thought it would bring a nice warm feeling to a cold and wet March day. Canon G10, 1/2000 sec @ f/4.5, ISO 200.

253 - Play-Doh!

From 365 Project
Play-Doh is so much fun, especially when the colors are all mixed together. Canon PowerShot SD1100, 1/50 sec @ f2.8, ISO 400 in digital macro mode. This is my first blog photo from my ultra small Canon SD1100 in "Bohemian Brown". So far five Canon cameras and one Blackberry have been used to take the 253 pictures posted to this blog.
