Almost Famous

- My grandson Robert looks like a celebrity behind these sunglasses. Given how much he ends up in pictures taken by Grandpa, I guess he qualifies. Canon G11, 1/250 sec @ f/2.8, ISO 200.

Here's Looking at You

From 2010 Blog
- My grandson Robert was sick today with an ear infection. But he went to the doctor and after his first dose of medicine kicked in, he was good as new for about an hour. During that time we played and I took this picture of him looking at me. He is holding the cat training aide (a.k.a. squirt bottle) which he loves to use much to Sasha's regret. Canon 7D, 1/320 sec @ f/3.5, ISO 1600, natural light.

Start 'em Young

From 2010 Blog
- My grandson Robert got his every own "real" camera for Easter. He has been shooting with one of my point and shoot's but was very happy to get his own camera. He's taking a picture of me laying on the grass taking a picture of him. He came back today armed with his camera so I'm thinking there needs to be a new 365 photo blog in the works. I just love looking at his images and his perspective on the world. Now to just get him to use two hands. Canon 7D, 1/1000 sec @ f/6.3, ISO 200.

Little Hand

From 2010 Blog
- This little hand belongs to my 3 year old grandson Robert. As you can tell they are busy little hands. He was playing with a small patch of sunlight that was landing on the dinner table. In the evening the sun sets fast and the patch of light was there one minute and gone the next. In a few years when I look back at this picture it will seem that he grew up just as fast. Canon Powershot SD1100 IS, 1/250 sec @ f/2.8, ISO 400, 40mm equivalent focal length in digital macro mode.

332 - Happy Go Lucky

From 365 Project
These sculptures always make me smile. They are located at the Collins Square Shopping Center in the Thalia area of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The bright primary colors against a clear blue sky help to evoke the feeling of happiness. Canon 1/500 sec @ f/8.0, ISO 100 with infill flash.

311 - Upside Down & Red

From Nov7
My grandson spent the afternoon with us and was quite full of himself. He is hanging upside down looking at me through a red plastic candy dish. The empty candy dish is a good indication of how he got so full of himself. He just loves to visit Grammy's house! Canon Rebel XTi, 1/13 sec @ f/2.8, ISO 400, 30mm prime lens.

217 - Legacy

From 365 Project
My grandson Robert has recently acquired his first camera, gently used - of course, and loves to take pictures with it. We were dueling it out with our cameras during a family night out for pizza. Canon G10, 1/60 sec @ f/4.5, ISO 400, flash set at -1 stop.
