134 - Crystal Shell

From 365 Project
This is a closeup of a hanging crystal shell I saw in a card shop. Regular follows of the blog recognize that I like glass and reflections and the way they play with the light. Canon G10, 1/500 sec at f/2.8, ISO 800 in macro mode.

133 - Silicon

From 365 Project
This is a silicon wafer containing about 750 Intel 386 processors. Even though it is over 15 years old, I still marvel at the hundreds of processors each with their millions of microscopic transistors. Here's a link to a super closeup photo of a single processor from this wafer. Canon G10, 1/20 sec at f/4.5, ISO 400.

From 365 Project
This ain't no Starbucks! The shipping and receiving door at the Norfolk Coffee & Tea Company at 212 E 18th Street in Norfolk Virginia, a local landmark. The family has been roasting and blending coffee in Norfolk Virginia since 1918 and at this location since 1938. No venti soy double latte' served here, no website either, just great freshly roasted coffee for your coffee maker. See if you can find the "Bless This Door" sign. Canon G10, 1/200 at f/3.5, ISO 200, 28mm equivalent focal length.

With two die in play, seven is the most common combination. The probability that a seven comes come up is one out of six with fair dice. Thus the role is know as a "natural". Canon 40D, 1/60 sec at f/7.1, ISO 800, 50mm.

128 - Clover Flower

From 365 Project
This is a super macro shot of a small clover flower. The blossom is less than 1/2 inch across so the small insect, which looks like a cricket is very tiny. Canon 40D, 1/80 sec at f/8.0, ISO 800, 4x macro at 65mm.
