- Blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa ripping up the stage during his encore at New York City's historic Town Hall Theatre last night. Joe motto is "Always on the road" and his tour truck is the latest example of his climb in popularity. Canon G11, 1/80 sec @ f/4.0, ISO 800.

Very nice concert photo! I could live without the heads in the left foreground, but you're free and clear of the dreaded microphone-stand syndrome! Well done..

Thanks Cait for the comments. I was going to crop those heads out but then I would have lost the array of pedals. I was shooting these with the two second delay to help minimize camera shake, so the composition suffered just a little. Security wouldn't let me use the DSLR so had to resort to the P&S.

Edison Filament Light Blub

This is a reproduction on an early 20th Century "squirrel cage" carbon filament light bulb built by Thomas Edison. In today's modern reproductions the filaments are made of tungsten, which burns three times brighter than the original carbon filament versions. They are really getting popular in vintage bare blub fixtures. This one was hanging over my table at Tarrant's Cafe , 1 W. Broad Street in Richmond Virginia. Canon G15, 1/15 sec @ f/8.0, ISO 200, in macro mode.
