The yellow is really bright to me, and a little distracting; I'd tone just the yellow's luminance and sat. down in post, and then I think you'd have a killer shot.
Cait, thanks so for much for the comments. I took your advice and made the adjustments to the screaming yellow in Lightroom. I think I blew out the highlights a little on the capture, but the saturation and luminance toned down made a big difference. Thanks I changed the post to this new version.
From 365 Project The Air Force Memorial in glows against low hanging clouds and mist. Located on a promontory in Arlington, Virginia, overlooking the Pentagon and adjacent to Arlington Cemetery, the memorial's three 270 feet tall stainless arcs evoke the spirit of flight.
