344 - Chim Chiminey

From 365 Project
The red chimney and the stark primary colors of the sky and the house invoked memories of seeing the movie Mary Poppins many years ago. The bright yellow house is at the corner of Colley and Boissevain Avenues in Norfolk's Ghent neighborhood. Canon 7D, 1/800 sec @ f/8.0, ISO 100.

This is a great photo, David! I did a double-take on the cat(?) in the window. What a great detail. I think this would even do really well in stock if you cropped in a little more.

Thanks Cait. It is actually a little dog. You can see her good in this zoomed in crop from the high res original. I walked by the house on my way to shoot another building. I took a picture similar to this one. When I came back I was looking back up the roof and took this picture with the dog in the window. I'd be interested in how you would crop it.
