Hosta

From 2010 Blog
- One of my hostas backlit by the micro LED Litepanel. Since we have a very shady yard, I have many hostas most of which are showing stress from the recent heat wave and drought. Unfortunately some of the hostas are just done for this year. Canon 40D, f/20.0 @ 1/250 sec, ISO 400, 50mm macro.

Do you have a picture of this LED light panel somewhere...or a link? You've been getting great results with it, and I just can't picture what it is, exactly. I know individual LEDs of course...but, a panel?

This is the one that I have. I have had it for about a year and half and it was one of the first of this type available. It is way over priced.

I'm thinking about adding another for a two lite setup and I'm probably going to try this generic model from Amazon. I'm sure its not made as well as the Litepanel brand but it looks to have about the same light output. I have never used mine on the camera, I usually hold it or have it mounted on one of those little cheap point and shot tripods.

These were originally designed for video but as you can see it is pretty handy for stills.
