Orange

The Alabama Jubilee daylily puts on quite a show with its big deep orange blooms. I just wish they lasted more than a day. There is just one more bud left to go before waiting another elevens months for the next show. The wait just makes you appreciate them even more. Canon 7D, 1/4000 sec @ f/4.0, ISO 400, 100mm macro.

Gorgeous photo! The color is brilliant and I love the shadows. This is one of my favorite summer flowers.
